Betzdorf (German pronunciation: [ˈbɛtsdɔʁf]; Luxembourgish: Betzder [ˈbætsdɐ] ⓘ) is a commune and town in the canton of Grevenmacher, in eastern Luxembourg.

As of 2024[update], the city of Betzdorf, which lies within the north-east of the commune, has a population of 288 inhabitants.[1] Other settlements inside the commune include the commune’s administrative centre, Berg,[2] as well as Mensdorf, Olingen, and Roodt-sur-Syre.[3]

Betzdorf Castle is the birthplace of Grand Duke Henri and is now the headquarters of SES, the world’s largest satellite tv for pc operator in terms of income and one of the 4 largest elements of the Luxembourg Inventory Exchange’s predominant LuxX Index.
