Vichit Mukura (Thai: วิชิต มุกุระ; RTGS: Wichit Mukura) is a Thai chef specialised in royal Thai delicacies, at present serving as govt chef at Royal Osha.[1][2][3] Vichit beforehand served as executive chef at Sala Rim Nam at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok for nearly 30 years[4][5][6]

Vichit was born in Pattaya, Chonburi province.[7]

Career

Vichit was accountable for curating the state dinner menu for Barack Obama throughout his 2012 visit to Thailand, hosted by Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.[8][9]

Vichit previously operated Chef’s Table by Khao, a 12-seat restaurant serving Thai delicacies utilizing Japanese produce.[10][11]
