Louis Patrick James Partridge (born 3 June 2003) is an English actor. He started his career as a toddler actor, and had minor roles in the fantasy films Pan (2015) and Paddington 2 (2017). He portrayed Piero de’ Medici within the historical drama collection Medici (2019), and had his breakthrough with the Netflix mystery film Enola Holmes (2020) and its 2022 sequel. Partridge has since portrayed Sid Vicious within the FX miniseries Pistol (2022) and starred in Alfonso Cuarón’s thriller collection Disclaimer (2024),[1] as properly as the historic drama collection House of Guinness (2025).

Early and private life

Partridge was born on 3 June 2003 in Wandsworth, London, to James and Liz Partridge.[2] He has an older sister, Issie, and a younger sister, Millie.[3]

Partridge attended Dulwich Preparatory College, an all-boys’ personal school in south east London, and performed rugby with Battersea Ironsides Sports activities Club. [5] He accomplished his A Levels in 2021 with As in French, English, and Film Research. [4] He then went to secondary school at Alleyn’s School, a co-educational non-public faculty in Dulwich, where he was a member of Tyson’s House.

From 2023 until the end of 2025, Partridge was in a romantic relationship with the American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo. [6]

Profession

Partridge made his performing debut in a 2014 brief film Beneath Water. [8][9][10] Partridge was one of many England mascots on the 2015 Rugby World Cup game against Wales, held at Twickenham Stadium. [7] Partridge also appeared as an additional in Emil and the Detectives at the National Theatre alongside different former youngster actors including BBC Information reader Seb Sargent and CBBC’s Lucy Hutchinson, a rehearsal attended by Queen Elizabeth II and The Duke of Edinburgh. [4]

Partridge had early minor roles within the films in Pan (2015) and Paddington 2 (2017) and subsequently performed Piero de’ Medici in the television sequence Medici (2019).[11] He rose to prominence when he performed Viscount Tewkesbury, the love curiosity of the title character, in Enola Holmes (2020), starring Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill. [12][13] Ella Kemp of Empire termed him “likeable” in his half. [14] He reprised the position within the film’s 2022 sequel. [15]

Additionally in 2022, he was part of the forged of The Lost Women, enjoying the immortal boy Peter Pan.[16][17] Partridge was also a part of the cast of Danny Boyle’s FX miniseries Pistol as the titular band’s bassist Sid Vicious.[18][19]

In 2024, Partridge had a cameo within the spy film Argylle as a younger model of the title character performed by Henry Cavill.[20] He then had a starring position alongside Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline in Alfonso Cuarón’s thriller miniseries Disclaimer which premiered on the 81st Venice Worldwide Movie Festival before premiering on Apple Television+ in October 2024.[21]

Partridge appeared alongside an ensemble solid in Noah Baumbach’s film Jay Kelly, led by George Clooney, Adam Sandler, and Laura Dern.[22] He portrays Edward Guinness within the historical drama collection House of Guinness from creator Steven Knight.[23]
