The Federal Govt Council or just the Executive Council (Arabic: المجلس التنفيذي للفيدرالية, Kurdish: Encûmena Rêvebir a Federaliyê, Classical Syriac: ܡܘܬܒܐ ܣܘܥܪܢܝܐ ܕܦܕܪܐܠܝܘܬܐ, romanized: Mawtbo Suronoyo d’Federaloyotho)[3][4][5] within the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (DAANES), acts as a joint coordination committee that oversees the implementation of insurance policies developed by the Federal Meeting of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC). The regional Executive Councils sets the budget for every canton, supervise the work of their subordinate Commissions and Offices, and submit experiences to the encompassing Govt Council of the DAANES. [6] The DAANES administration itself and every regional Canton has its own respective Executive Council, in addition to a Legislative Council and a Justice Council.

Selections and responsibilities

The Council assists with coordination and collaboration between cantons in political, financial, social and cultural matters; particularly that of diplomatic and navy matters. It additionally supervises and follows the work of federal Departments and Ministries.[15]
